Those who live in harmony with Spirit seek as best they’re able, to live according to good codes of conduct, which means, in essence, to treat other people, animals and the environment as kindly as possible (without allowing others to take unfair advantage). Where possible, these individuals seek to share helpful spiritual information with others too, in a non-proselytising way, to lovingly lead entrapped souls towards knowledge that promotes spiritual awakening.
Knowing that this world is not Home, those who live in harmony with Spirit recognise that many of the institutions of this world are populated by individuals with negative motivations. The prevalence of psychopathy is, for instance, disproportionately represented in certain occupations, including, according to an Oxford University psychologist, business CEOs, the civil service (city council, etc), lawyers, the police, and in religion, whilst narcissists are said to gravitate towards finance and politics, amongst other things. If you doubt the evidence, pause for a moment to think about the recent revelations regarding the Metropolitan Police, or the Parliamentary Covid and expenses scandals, or the Channel Four revelations about the dubious goings on at the Financial Ombudsman Service, in the UK. (I note that the Property Ombudsman Service appears to be heading in the wrong direction too, based on the public feedback.)
Whilst we make no claim to identify specific individuals with psychopathic or sociopathic tendencies in the organisations involved (named above or below), and whilst we’re not stating here that these specific named organisations either are, or are not, largely psychopathic or narcissistic entities, these issues have nevertheless caused considerable public concern and at the very least they suggest that there is, perhaps, more than just a grain of truth to be found in the research on dark personality traits and occupation.
Consider too how the legal arm of the NHS, called NHS Resolution, it seems routinely defends claims that natural justice suggests should be settled quickly. If you doubt this fact, notice what legal expert Bill Braithwaite, KC, recently said on this appalling subject: “There was ample opportunity for NHS Resolution…[to] admit that Alder Hey’s repeated negligence had caused catastrophic injury to an innocent baby… [but] this case… went on for years [before NHS Resolution finally settled]”.
Remember too, the shocking abuses of vulnerable children that have taken place, committed by members of the clergy. Think about the banking crisis, which experts have blamed directly on the greedy psychopathic behaviour of large numbers of individuals who were positioned deep within these institutions. And notice, once again, how one powerful psychopathic individual in a position of ultimate power, this time in the form of Vladimir Putin, can cause the deaths of so many innocent people, whilst crippling the world economy.
Of course, we cannot disparage whole classes of people, for the failings of some (though wisdom suggests caution is appropriate when dealing with groups of people which are known to contain disproportionate numbers of darkly motivated persons, until the evidence suggests that trust can exist with one or more persons in a particular class), as, obviously, noble individuals have worked in the above-mentioned vocations too, including virtuous lawyer Jan Schlichtmann, for instance (played by John Travolta, in the movie called A Civil Action), and Mahatma Gandhi, both of whom represent lawyers at their best (the word Mahatma, by the way, means Great Soul, which indicates the high regard that was accorded to Gandhi), whilst Dr Martin Luther King Jr, George Fox and John Wesley are all examples of noble religious leaders. It is though arguable to say that it’s easier for us to name political leaders on the world stage, in recent times, with dubious records, than it is to think of one who’s renowned for their honesty. Gone, for now, it seems, are the days when giants like Abraham Lincoln walk amongst the political classes.
Sadly, today, given that a disproportionate proportion of individuals who occupy positions of power have dark personality traits, it’s no wonder that the world is in the mess it’s in. We all know how problematic the presence of one disruptive person in a group can be, so, it stands to reason, that when this propensity is multiplied across the kind of occupations that shape the character of our society, due to the presence of a large number of individuals who are prone to problem making behaviours, being influenced themselves by negative spiritual forces, with whom they’re in alignment, that our current world should be struggling with so much corruption, in high places. We see too how this negative behaviour plays out in social media, where research now reveals that a growing attitude of hostile outrage is being fuelled in millions of posts and that positive content is succumbing to the increasing amount of negative content that’s flooding the Internet, led by ‘Satan’s little helpers’, the ‘Twitter Trolls‘ and the online sadists who spread hate and division in such vast amounts, in the form of various kinds of extremism, including racism and polarised politics. In contrast, those who seek to work in harmony with Spirit, unlike the psychopaths and narcissists, with their dark personality traits, strive to make the world a better place.
Despite the degree to which the dark forces have penetrated society, we who live in harmony with Spirit have something the dark forces don’t have though: we have hope. Hope that when this imbalance is at last resolved, now, or in some future time, it is goodness that will prevail, as the negative forces are finally swept aside and constrained, no more to be free to blight the lives of millions.
Mutually incompatible forces cannot eternally coexist. As an increasing number of misled individuals finally awaken to their own divine nature and as a result reject the ways of The World, in favour of the ways of Spirit, so the fabric of society will change, for the better.
You can help to change the world for the better and make this happen, in daily acts of kindness and by spreading the word, as best you can.

Postscript: Note now, the gifts and expenses scandals involving the current British Prime Minister, Sir Kier Starmer and his friend, Lord Alli. This situation does not inspire trust.
