Matthew Manning: The World’s Most Scientifically Tested Healer

On the morning of February 18th 1967 a series of paranormal events began that would eventually propel a young man to international public recognition and to the position of becoming the world’s most scientifically tested healer. A silver tankard began to move in the Manning home – propelled by an unknown force. Over the years the situation developed and the magnitude of the phenomena increased. Heavy furniture moved with no visible means of support. Objects flew through the air – propelled by a mysterious power. Items from out of time manifested in the present day… and Matthew Manning, the young man who, it became clear, was at the centre of these phenomena began to communicate with spirits in the form of some amazing examples of automatic writing and art. Some of the artists who appear to have worked through Matthew even include Picasso!

Many credible witnesses attest to the nature of the events that occurred around Matthew, including residents at the boarding school at which Matthew was a student, along with the headmaster and matron. Due to the scale of the events that centered on Matthew some of the world’s top scientists began working with him to research the powers that seemed to be emanating from him. Over time it became apparent that when Matthew focussed his energy on some directed form of expression the inexplicable movement of objects that had been occurring around him subsided. This led to him dedicating his time and talents to the vocation of healing.

Starting in the 1970s Matthew volunteered to participate in various scientific experiments which were geared to assess whether or not Matthew’s thoughts would have any effect on various biological systems. After research had been conducted world renowned scientist Dr William Braud stated, in relation to Matthew’s ability to delay the rate of death of blood cells contained in a test tube that, amazingly: ‘By concentrating his mind on the test tube of blood, Matthew was able to slow down the death of the cells. Normally the blood cells would break down and die within a maximum of five minutes. But he was able to slow down the destruction so that the blood cells were still intact as long as twenty minutes later’. In another trial that was focussed on Matthew’s ability to render cancer cells inactive Braud stated: ‘What Matthew has demonstrated is that he can influence cancer cells. There may be factors involved that could be used to heal oneself and others.’.

In relation to Braud’s assessment Matthew himself stated ‘I was interested to find out if this was correct. The answer, with a few provisos, was yes’.

Today Matthew Manning appears regularly on TV demonstrating healing and his excellent books are extremely popular.

I’ve had the pleasure of hosting three workshops for Matthew, two in Bournemouth and one in Wareham. I also met him on several occasions in Devon. The workshops were great. We learned first-hand about many of Matthew’s remarkable telekinetic experiences. He also presented helpful information on the subject of energy healing. As the workshop progressed Matthew guided the participants through a relaxing group meditation too. What’s more, Matthew also gave healing to some participants, which was especially interesting, given his status as the world’s most scientifically tested healer.
