The Bristling Danger of a President Unchecked

“Open the fucking strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell”.

Donald Trump, President of the United States of America. 5th April 2026.

Those who persist in enabling Donald Trump’s erratic and destabilising behaviour do a grave disservice to the well-being of the nation and the world. His recent threat to destroy civilian infrastructure in Iran, coupled with a sickening display of linguistic aggression, crosses a perilous threshold. It is imperative that we recognise the gravity of the situation and take swift, decisive action to prevent further harm.

Trump’s threatened annihilation of power plants and desalination facilities, if carried out, would have catastrophic consequences for the Iranian people. These vital institutions provide the basic necessities of modern life, and their destruction would plunge millions into a dystopian existence devoid of electricity, clean water, and the semblance of stability. Such a heinous act would, indeed, be a hell on earth.

Moreover, the fact that Trump has publicly stated his intention to commit such atrocities in a campaign of psychological warfare against innocent civilians underscores the depth of his depravity. His words, dripping with disdain and hostility, expose a calculating monster who sees human suffering as nothing more than a means to an end. The legal principle that prohibits the targeting of civilian infrastructure for the purpose of collective punishment or intimidation applies universal justice to his actions.

International law, the Geneva Conventions, and the moral compass of humanity all condemn Trump’s war crimes in the strongest possible terms. His own niece, Mary L. Trump, and respected medical professionals, Dr. Bandy X. Lee and Dr. J. Langley, have sounded the alarm on his dangerous behaviour, underscoring the urgent need for intervention.

It is time to confront the reality that Donald Trump has become a clear and present danger to peace, stability, and human life. His removal from office and prosecution for war crimes is no longer a theoretical notion but a necessary step to prevent further devastation. The complicity of his enablers, including Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, must also be addressed through accountability measures.

In the face of such threats, we must not falter in our resolve. It is our solemn duty to protect the innocent, uphold the rule of law, and restore a sense of sanity and rational governance. We can no longer afford to indulge Trump’s erratic impulses, or silence those who sound the alarm. The world watches how we respond, and the fate of countless lives hangs in the balance.

As the precarious situation unfolds, let us remain steadfast in our commitment to justice, compassion, and the better angels of our nature. Only then can we hope to avert the epic catastrophe that looms on the horizon, and forge a brighter, more hopeful future for all.
