BBC News reports that Israel has committed today, what some are calling a massacre. Nearly 800 innocent people have been killed or injured by Netanyahu’s ongoing war. In recent days, news outlets have reported that Netanyahu’s regime has been concerned that the USA might be seeking a way out of the illegal, brutal, cack-handed war it started, alongside Israel, against Iran. The implication is that Netanyahu doesn’t want to end the war, at this stage. Given that reports state that the temporary cease-fire which was brokered by Pakistan included a clause to prohibit further attacks upon Lebanon, Israel’s ongoing violence suggests that it has no intention to participate in good faith. As such, Iran has warned ships in the area not to seek to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, as they will continue to remain targets, until the terms of the proposed cease-fire are upheld, in full. Two wrongs, of course don’t make a right. Israel, America, Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah have all acted without due care for innocent lives. Nevertheless, Israel’s continuing unacceptable violence suggests it’s doing all that it can to break the cease-fire, thereby encouraging Iran to play its most powerful Trump card, which is to block the Strait of Hormuz, thereby causing Donald Trump to lose face and potentially be triggered into further violence. Let’s pray that more sane heads prevail, before it’s too late.
